Broadcast Graphics for Video Production
The objective of this program is to provide students with a thorough understanding of Broadcast Graphics Production, Storyboarding, Animation for Broadcast Graphics, DVD Design and Authoring, and Digital Video Editing. There is an emphasis on the skills needed to prepare the students for entry-level employment as a Broadcast Graphics Developer, Broadcast Graphics Animator, TV Graphics Designer, Storyboard and Animatic Developer, and DVD Developer. The AAS program provides evidence of competencies in communication, social sciences, humanities and fine arts, analytical and inferential reasoning, and computational skills as well as the ability to learn on one’s own.
Advertising Design, Associate in Applied Science
This program is designed to provide graduates with the fundamental skills necessary to be employable in the field of advertising design and production, graphic design, print or web page production. Additionally, students will gain knowledge in basic computer operation, production software, business and project planning from conception to completion. Students will provide evidence of competencies in communication, social sciences, humanities and fine arts, analytical and inferential reasoning, and computational skills as well as the ability to learn on one’s own.
Digital Video & Media Production, Associate in Applied Science
The objective of this program is to provide students with a thorough understanding of Digital Video Editing, Scripting, Storyboarding, Motion Graphics, Sound, Lighting and DVD Design and Authoring, with an emphasis on the skill needed to prepare the students for entry-level employment as: Digital Video Editor, Scriptwriter, Storyboard Artist, Motion Graphic Developer, Sound Assistant, Lighting Assistant, and DVD Designer or Production Developer. This program provides evidence of competencies in communications, social sciences, humanities and fine arts, analytical and inferential reasoning, and computational skills as well as the ability to learn on one’s own.
Programming & Game Development, Associate in Applied Science
The Programming & Game Development Program is designed to provide students with the skills necessary to be employable in the general field of programming and software development. Additionally, students will have the ability to develop digital games from conception to completion. This program provides evidence of competencies in communications, social sciences, humanities and fine arts, analytical and inferential reasoning, and computational skills as well as the ability to learn on one’s own.
